Vehicle Detail

This vehicle is sold: AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO guarantees or warrantees, expressed or implied. Less than 5 feedback bidders will be cancelled and blocked unless you contact me first. Vehicle must be picked up and paid for (CASH) within 7 days of auction end. Any costs incurred, and/or arrangement of transporting this vehicle, are the sole responsibility of the auction winner. I cannot ship or deliver anywhere. I'll give as complete a description as I can, and have no issues with you checking out this vehicle PRIOR to auction end. Please ask any questions you like, I'll try my best to answer them as fully and completely as is possible. Prior inspections welcomed and encouraged. That being said... Up for auction is a: 1970 Plymouth Fury, 2 dr Gran Coupe. Paisley top and interior. THIS VEHICLE MUST BE TOWED!!! Flatbedding would be better since the tires are old, though they still hold air. I believe I am the 3rd owner. I purchased it July 2006 from a relative of the original owner. I believe the mileage shown to be actual and correct, though I cannot guarantee that. It was a good weather weekend vehicle until the Fall of 2009, but was badly stored after a brake line blew, as a result the interior mildewd. Rust is forming, but not too bad yet, in the doglegs of both rear fenders and right lower front fender. The floorboards are rusting but are saveable. There is bubbling happening under the left sail panel, under the vinyl. The trunk pan needs the most work. The rockers still seem very solid. At this point, it will not start due to corroded fuel lines, but was a strong runner until stored. I did plan on restoring it, but I have other projects I'm more interested in. This Fury is still worth saving, it's not too far gone. I know what it's worth parted out, and will do so if it doesn't sell, but would rather see it go to someone who appreciates these, last, great "Businessman's Muscle Cars", and has the desire, time and resources. The glass is good and works. There is no sag in the doors. It tracked straight and true. I don't believe it was ever in an accident. It was simply too straight. The headlight shutters worked when stored. The motor is a 383 w an Edelbrock intake and Holley 650 double pumper and dual exhaust. Trans is a 727. Power booster drum/drum brakes. INCLUDED IN THIS SALE: an SSBC C-body front drum to disc conversion kit, consisting of front discs, calipers, caliper mounts, master cylinder and associated hardware. I bought this in anticipation of said restoration, so it goes along to sweeten the deal. In addition, I have a front valance the also needs work, it goes too. The title is clear and in my posession. Thanks for looking...
