If you are looking for a beautiful Carrera 4, this is your car!! The Carrera 4 is the all wheel drive version of the 911 lineup. 148,685 miles on the odometer – this car is in excellent working condition and is an absolute blast to drive!!!!! White bodywork with a blue top. It has never been in an accident or had any paintwork. With all early 964 Porsches, there are 2 major items – the head gaskets (or lack of) and the dual distributors, the motor was reworked at 80,000 to install new head gaskets and the factory recall to install a vent on the distributors has been done. Other issues: The engine has had the oil changed with Mobil 1 every 10K, the filter again at 5000 in between, per Porsche’s recommendations. Engine runs strong and is leak free. I replace the top with a Cabrioworld top this past summer, it is perfect. $800, including installation. I have installed a front strut brace and a cold air intake, other than these items the car is factory stock. The engine cover on the underside has been removed to improve motor cooling, it is a Southern car!! Interior – the dash is perfect, one seam in the driver seat (left shoulder is coming apart). The back seats have minor abrasions on the corners. Other than that the interior is perfect. Exterior – the bumpers have some minor abrasions. The passenger’s door has a minor ding. AutoCheck shows that there is a problem with the odometer. I have researched this issue with the previous owner and the State of South Carolina. It appears that when the previous owner registered the car in South Carolina the State made an error in the odometer filing. The previous owner has agreed to accept calls from any interested bidder to review the car’s registration.
