Vehicle Detail

So, long story condensed down to a short one. I built this car 5 years ago from a dying hulk parked under a tree. It had belonged to my ex-father in law and was sitting neglected. I inherited it, spent countless thousands of dollars on it, countless hours on it, etc and now its just not getting used much anymore. Marriage is over, so the family attachment is no longer there. I love the car but the fact is that I rarely drive it these days. Its still a hoot to drive, has good power, makes good gas mileage, BUT, you had better have spare time wherever you're going because people are going to stop you and ask questions. I'll attach the ad that I made. It lists all of the details in the car. There is less than 4,000 miles on this car since I built it and I know I haven't put 500 miles on it this year. Comes with a new hood that needs to be painted. This is a semi-rare hood and hard to find. When we built it originally the hood was in horrible shape and took a lot of bondo to straighten it out. I always hated that. I later scrounged up a NICE and solid OEM hood and have never got around to repainting it to replace this one. Lets see where this goes... A little piece of me is a little heartbroken even posting this. Yeah, I just realized when I took the interior photo how badly it needs vacuumed! Also, a new update the car currently has no turn signal switch in it. It freaked out on me a while back and wouldn't stop buzzing the relay. I had to take it out to get it out for a custom car cruise a couple of months ago and have never installed a new one yet. I just haven't got around to dealing with it and it really hasn't bothered me in the last couple of times I've driven it. Also, the drivers rear floor pan has a small quarter sized hole in it under the rear seat from a strike with a driveway pulling into my shop. This car does sit pretty low and you have to be pretty careful pulling in and out of high pitched driveways and garages. 1776cc Engine with W100 cam, 043 heads, and Dual Kadron carburetors Ful flowed oil system with remote mount oil filter and breather box Aircooled.net SVDA distributor Flanged extractor header with heater boxes and hideaway muffler Stock transmission with new clutch and new shifter bushings New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes Front end completely rebuilt with new ball joints, idler bushing, and camber/caster correction kit from Topline Lowered front struts and rear torsion lowered one notch Polished Wide 5 wheels on 4 to 5 adapters Black Billet running boards Grant Wood Grain steering wheel Leather 2003 VW Passat power seats in front Hurst trigger shifter rebuilt and powdercoated black Center console and fiberglass kick panels with Polk Audio speakers and Kenwood CD Player This car runs like a top, is fun to drive, and makes good gas mileage with this engine combo. I have driven it on several trips out of town with zero issues. (Other than being stopped a lot for people to look at it.) I'm just ready to move on to a new toy and start fresh.
