Please read entire ad Up for sale is a beautiful black on tan 1999 E39 540IA BMW. I bought this car as a car with no Key, lets just say the previous owner was not an honest individual. Two days after I got the car towed to my house he found the Key. I drove 90 miles to go get it, because it was cheaper than getting one ordered through BMW. Long story short, after testing the car, engine will turn over but wont start. I took the valve cover off to find out that it has a busted timing chain guide. Needs timing chain guides replaced. Body is in great shape, for a 13 year old car, 100% rust free. Interior is in good shape too. The issue I am having is that the title can't be transferred, the guy I bought the car from never completed the paper work, and after he got his money, he vanished. I have no way of getting a hold of him. I am selling this car, and will sign a bill of sale to prove that you bought this car, but you will not be able to obtain a title for this car in your name. This is why I am selling this car FOR PARTS ONLY. I could part it out and get way more money than what it is going to sell for on here, but I don't have the time to do all that.
