1966 Ford Mustang Coupe 1966 Ford Mustang CoupeVintage Autohaus presents this 1966 Ford Mustang hard top. This very original mustang was built in Metuchen New Jersey and shipped to D.S.O 21 Atlanta with a 289 2V engine, C4 automatic transmission, power steering, “factory” air conditioning, deluxe pony interior. Factory color was Sauterne Gold Metallic with black interior. Previous owner found this mustang in Arizona and restored about 4 years ago. It’s had a full body color change to Code 5 Signal Flair Red during restoration. The paint is good with nice gloss. NO RUST on any of the body panels. Fit is nice and body is very straight. Both rear floor pans have been replaced. No other patches or repairs. Motor is a correct and original to car 289 C code wearing the correct Autolite 2100 carburetor. Motor and C4 transmission were rebuilt at restoration. Car drives great and sounds good. Exhaust system has been updated to a 3” X pipe and 3 chamber flow masters. Interior, carpet and headliner were replaced. Bucket seats are very nice with original style pony logo seats, center console, wood grain steering wheel, cold blowing factory air conditioning. A nice Kenwood 4 speaker stereo was added tastefully. Rear end is the correct 2:80 to 1 open rear end. Wheels and tires are 14” stock size with factory caps. All suspension is original and is good order. Chrome and trim are nice. Bumpers and bumperettes are new. All glass is in good shape. All in all a very nice original V8 all option mustang ready to go!
