1967 AMC Rambler Rebel 550 4drsdn. 39,340 original miles. i believe im the fourth owner. off road and in storage since 2003. 6cyl runs well, automatic transmission shifts nicely. 12 bolt positive traction rear end. fuel tank and lines need to be fluhsed and cleaned (very old gas). the manual drum brakes pump up briefly then fade so there is a brake issue of some sort. 14" aluminum AMC slotted mag wheels with correct centers. rims are nice, tires look nice but have some dry rot. car is 95% rust free. the only rust issues are on the bottom heel of the passenger front fender, the inner passenger front frame rail just below the firewall (rust hole about the size of a baseball) and the drivers front floor pan is just starting to rust... but the floors, trunck, quarter panels, rockers, doors, hood, trunck lid, roof, rear frame rails, etc..are all unbelievably solid. bumpers are faded but straight. all the lights work. interior is completely original. dash and guages are especially nice. seats have some splits on the seams but are presentable. the carpet and headliner are decent. original spare and jack assembly are in the trunck. the windshield is cracked, the rest of the glass is all good. the doors open and close properly , however, both front doors sag just a bit. for sale locally so i reserve the right to end the auction should it sell. clean NYS transferable registration. winning bidder has 3 days from the close of the auction to make payment in full. i can assist with loading or can provide delivery within a 250 mile radius of my location...fees for delivery are negotiable. this is a very unique car with tons of potential. there is a very low reserve as i am a motivated seller. contact me with any questions. good luck!
