I got this car a little while ago from a local seller, i was told he got the car from the original owners nephew who lived here in NC, the car was originally from VA , there is absolutely no rust on this car not even a bubble. The paint and drive train were done about a year ago by the person i bought the car from , the paint is really nice on this car they did a great job , there is no trash, cracks, or orange peel in it, it is base coat clear coat Candy Apple Red which is the original color. The only thing that needed to be done when i got the car was the interior which i have done, it has Pony Interior and is all new, door panels, front seats were recovered, head liner is new, carpet is nice it did not need replacement, all work was done by a professional upholstery shop. This car is ready to go and show now, i wouldn't hesitate to show it. The chrome is all nice, the gauges, lights, blinkers,radio all work as they should, the car also has an original period correct Sun Tach mounted on the steering column which works well. The car has its original C-Code motor which runs and drives great, this car goes great down the road. The brakes are 4 wheel drum and have all been redone so the car stops fine.The tires on the car are also new. The Trim tag reads as 6T07C129811 65B-2dr hardtop, T-Candy Apple red, 66- Black Pony interior, 19k-oct 19, 1965, 6- 2:80.1 Axle, 3- 3 speed, DSO 25- Richmond VA.
