This pickup has been in our family since new. It was originally purchased by my grandfather and was passed down thru the family until now!! The truck was given a partial restoration in 1964 by me-this included new rings, valves, and a paint job by me. It was used very little since then and has been in inside storage since then. Some of the things that have been done to this truck recently include all fluids changed, new plugs and wires, new thermostat and housing, muffler and tailpipe, new electric fuel pump and carburetor overhauled, new tires, and brakes repaired as neccessary, new floor mat (seat upholstery original), cooling system flushed, and truck runs and drives great with no overheating or problems!!! There is a small crack in the side of the block which does not appear to leak (see pictures) and a tiny leak in the aftermarket heater. Good body with no rust and no dents, paint is in excellent condition with a few scratches and touched up areas, original wood in box, original glass in good condition with one pit in windshield ( flat glass). Front bumper has small bend on driver side (see pictures). Headliner is gone. This truck has the chrome on the front which is extremely rare on 1942 models. We're selling this to make room as we have several other old family cars which we use more. This is an extremely rare truck in amazing all stock condition.
