1987 Mercedes benz 560SL, I am trying to link my autocheck vehicle account to my ebay listing but i am having a hard time doing so. I have included it in my description. I recently aquired this beautiful 1987 mercedes benz 560SL. This a one female owner 108,000 miles Never any accidents and comes with all the service maintainance records done by mercedes certified mechanics from day 1. ( I am number two ) the carhas lived its entire life in sunny Arizona. It was purchased febuary 7, 1987 at Beaudry Mercedes benz in Tucson Arizona by it sole owner at the original rice of $ 57,290.00. The car remained in Arizona untill the mid 1990's when the car was moved up to scottsdale where it was exclusively serviced at schmacher mercedes benz dealer. the car was her daily driver untill around 1995 when she bought a new SL. It was then only driven on the weekends and accumulated 7,000 miles in the last 10 years.during which time well over 15k was spent on a complete top end engine bebuild. Completefuel and cooling system overhaul, new factory leather seat skins,new top,new front suspension,and new ( Pirelli P7 ) tires. the body on the car is in beautiful all original conditionand was extremely well maintained. all the body panels still retain the small vin tags. It was painted the beautiful color of Silver Pearl Poly and is in beautiful condition. and still retains the factory paint. it doesnt have a single ding or dent and only a few small blems which have been professionally color matched and touched up. It has been completely inspectedunderneath front front to back and is solid as rock as an arizona car should be.it is riding on its original cosmetically restored mercedes 15" allow wheels and brand new perilli P7 tires. All the chrome. trim,glass and rubber seals are ingreat shape. the windshield and all glass is all original and chip free. the german black cloth top is in excellent condition and was just installed. the hardtop has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape. overall the exterior appearance of the car is a 9 out of 10. The interior is in great shape all around. The supple burgundy leather seats are both new and look very nice with no rips or ware lines. the dash is very nice and has no cracks. The carpets are all very nice and are not worn or damaged. The car has a like new set of mercedes floormats which were replaced with the new seat skins. All the dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna are fully functional. the sound system is also very nice with the original Becker Granprix cassette player. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. All lights, guages, switches and accessories work as they should. The AC blows ice cold. THE BOOKS show regular oil changes, coolant replacement and brake fluid flushes all at recommended intervals. At 102,00 miles an engine out upper end engine rebuild at mercedes at a cost of $ 9000.00 ( see attached invoice ) which included new timing chain, guides, rebuilt heads new valves and complete engine reseal. Also just overhauled was the complete fuel system from pump to fuel distributor, to all new injectors and lines. the front end was checked and over $ 1000.00 on subframe mounts and power steering box rebuild. The trunk compartment is clean and comes with the original jack,and complete tool kit are in place. The spare compartment is clean and the original spare tire never hit the pavement and still has the sticker on the tread. Mechanically this SL runs great.The car starts right up and shifts smooth. It drives as good now as the day it rolled off the lot. Included is all the manual fully filled out service book, warrantee book, data card and pamphlet and evn the warranty plate. I dare you mercedes collectors find another 560SL in this kind of condition with this kind of paperwork anywhere on the market. This SL is truely amazing. The car includes 2 keys, full tool kit, original unused spare tire, 2 top removall tools and the maintenance books and manuals.
