Vehicle Detail
This car was ordered for the wife of the Ford dealer in late 1971. It has every option available at that time. I am the 4th owner. The car has always been garaged. Original mileage confirmed. Drivetrain: "Q" code 351 4V motor, heavy duty C6 Transmission, 3.25:1 traction-loc rear end, 15" correct magnum wheels with 235/60R15 BFGoodrich tires. Also under the hood: Competition suspension, speed sensitive power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, dual exhaust. Other options: Power top with glass window, power windows, dual sport mirrors, sport striping, "comfort weave" upholstery, tilt steering column, rim-blow steering wheel, full tach and gauge package, full center console. Door panel info: Body: 76D, Color: 4C, Trim: CR, DSO: 76, Axle: R, Trans: U. The body is solid. All chrome is straight, no plastic bumpers like later 72's and 73's! Unlike the Mach 1, this car has 4 barrel carburetion and runs strong. I have a newer radio and spare installed, but retained the originals for use in shows Everything works except the analog clock. This car runs perfectly. It could be used as a daily driver, but we just take it out on nice summer days. The paint still glows, but a quality re-paint would make the car truly flawless. There were only 56 convertibles made with the Q code 351 in 1972, making this a rare example of the last of Mustang's muscle years. This isn't a worn out car with new paint... It's a clean, strong car offered by an honest, private seller.
