You are looking at what started its existence as an Auto Union/ DKW F91/4 "Munga". Built In generous numbers, these vehicles were adopted by the West German Bundeswehr and were used by the German Border Police as well as various Nato formations. If you have seen a Munga, you will quickly realize that this one looks different, and in our opinion, better than the original! The cut down windshield makes it look more Italian than German. War nicht bös gemeint! We believe the body to be from a 1960 F91/4, but must admit that we are not "Munga Maniacs", or Munga experts for that matter, so it could be a '58. The front I-Beam suspension, rear transaxle, and engine were ingeniously engineered into the body to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle that gets more thumbs up than a Noble M12, and an Aerial Atom! The vehicle has custom seats, seat belts, canvas top, tubular space frame, and more! The original DKW steering wheel, column, and hub caps finish off the vehicle.
