I`m relisting the car due to non paying bidder. Please if you are not intending to buy the car please do not bid!!! For sale is my 1992 Mercedes 300SD. 195k miles, automatic transmission. 6 cylinder DIESEL engine. gets up to 30mpg. Can be easy converted to vegetable oil fuel. Body it`s in great shape. No damages, scratches. Paint still in good condition. Only on the roof are some spots from sun burn. Interior it`s in great shape. No rips on the leather and no damages. I never had any problems with the car, until few days ago when i parked in my garage after i come back from work. Next day i started without any problems, but i noticed that engine was running louder than usualy and was smoking a little bit. I live i cold area, mybe the problem it`s with diesel fuel on cold. I checked with a diesel shop from another state and they told me that the problem may be in the fuel injection pump that needs to be removed from the car and send it to them to be cleaned and inspected, filters changed. Maybe needs a fuel sistem cleaned. Since in my town are only american diesel trucks and never seen any european diesels there are no mecanics who can work on this Mercedes. I`m not a mecanic and don`t have any idea how to perform this maintenance work. Car is driveable around the block, i never tryed to drive on highway without an diesel mecanic advise. Brand new injectors installed few months ago (was a easy job for a mecanic who never worked on diesels). Always garaged. My town it`s very small and we don`t have a diesel mecanic who can work on diesel Mercedes. Everything in this car works great. Vacuum doors works great, Transmision shifts smooth. A/C blows cold. This is a very strong car. Mercedes diesels are known for strong engines that can run to 500k miles without any problems. Even right now with this problem car starts right away, i`m not a mecanic so it needs a good diesel mecanic to clean all the fuel system and check the fuel injection pump. Clean title in my hands. Kelley Blue Book for the car it`s around 5000-6000$. I will sell the car to the winning bidder. Thanks. NO RESERVE.
