After selling this car last week and the winning bidder not following through , here it is back on Ebay . 1985 was the last year Mercedes built the wonderful 123 series turbo diesel wagon . This car was finished in "light ivory " ( MB color code 623 ) with palomino color MB-tex interior . It also has the rare option of a third row of seats with seat belts , making this a true 7 passenger wagon . This car has 192k well maintained miles on it . For Mercedes diesel standards this is still considered low mileage , especially on a 27 year old car . There are several Mercedes diesel of this vintage on Ebay right now with over 400k miles and still running well . If you take care of this 3 liter , 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine , it can easily last you 600-700k miles without any major engine work . This car runs very well . With the turbo charger it does have plenty of power and is not slow at all . It cruises comfortably at 90 miles per hour on the freeway while still getting a true 27mpg of diesel . Last year it was also fitted with a " Lovecraft "  bio diesel conversion . This is a single tank conversion and you have the option of driving it with regular diesel , bio diesel or even filtered waste oil from restaurants .  Recent mechanical work includes : new brakes ( Feb. 2012) , major service including all fluids and filters and a valve adjustment , a diesel purge , new battery , 4 new BF Goodrich tires , new push button assembly for the AC control , re-charged and re-sealed AC system , new wiper blades , new shocks for the rear hatch and a repaired parking brake . With all this recent work , the car is in very good shape mechanically .  The body and the paint are in very nice shape as well , as the many pictures will show . The interior is clean , there are no rips or tears in the seats and even the wood panels are very nice . I did take and post many pictures . They can describe the car much better than i can . I would prefer to sell the car locally to somebody who could actually come by and see it . But i would also try to be helpful with shipping or a airport pick-up . All shipping charges would have to be paid by the buyer . This is  great looking and running 27 year old car and it will be sold without a warranty " as is '' and " where is " .
