Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE AUCTION Welcome. You are bidding on an original California 1976 Porsche 911s Targa. This car is a true rust free and accident free car. This car still retains its original California license plate and factory tool kit/jack! Should you have any questions please feel free to email me or phone me at 925.876.1281. Please take the time to read the description and look at the pictures. I have added a photo album that contains about 50 pictures. Please click on the link below. http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii152/MrBMW2002/76Targa/ Exterior: This car is a solid rust free and accident free Porsche. It has all of the original panels, doors and fenders. This car has very nice lines and gaps. This car was originally Copper Brown Metallic, however has been changed to burgundy. The doors all shut smoothly and with easy. This is a very solid original chassis. Interior: The interior of this car has some wear as it has spent time in the hot California sun. The gauges work and the clock even ticks. Engine/Transmission: This car has the 2.7 CIS engine with 5 speed transmission. This car has been sitting off and on for about 2 years and is in need of a new fuel pump. This car has the Carrera tensioners update as well as the pop off valve in the air box. This car will run briefly if fuel is put in the pop off valve. The transmission appears to a tight clean shifting unit. Wheels/ Suspension: This car has the original factory 6x 15 Fuchs wheels. The suspension feels solid and all of the tires hold air. Overall: This is an excellent chance to get into an early 911s targa that has very good bones. With a weekend of work replacing the fuel pump and a quick once over this should be a very good running car. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
