Mercedes-Benz 420 SEL. I purchased this car from the original owner with the plans to get it back on the road. He parked it for a while at his warehouse where one of his businesses is and just let it set for 5 or so years. He's very wealthy. He said that the fuel pumps went bad so he parked it at the warehouse and left it. He has a good reputation in town and said that their was nothing wrong with the engine when he stopped driving it. The two front wheels were stolen while it sat at the warehouse but nothing else. The body has no dings and dents. No rust. The oil is still brown. We started it with starter fluid to see if it would run and it would for as long as we sprayed fluid. I'm assuming that what the previous owner told me about the fuel pumps being the only thing wrong with it is true. The engine was smooth when it ran. I have not replaced the fuel filters but I assume that everythings ok. Seats work, Windows work, sunroof, and other things that I checked. It seemed like an easy fix for someone who has some extra to spend on it who loves mercedes as I. I just dont have the extra at this time. I dont have time to part it out so I'd like to sell it as is. Please understand that this car at present does not run. But, for someone who's looking for a good "fixer upper" this is the one. Buyer must pick up car.
