My buddy bought this Excursion in late 2001 from the original owner who only had it six month's before deciding it was too big. He owned it for 10 years and all that time it has been in the dry, temperate climate of Southern Utah. It's totally stock and has only been used as a station wagon to haul family around. Cosmetically, the exterior is excellent other than some door dings on the driver's side passenger door, one small rear fender well dent on the driver's side only, and a door ding on the driver's side front fender (see pics). These are all minor and could probably be fixed by a paintless dent repair guy. The passenger side and front and rear are perfect. The interior is also pretty flawless and includes a drop-down DVD player. The farthest rear seat is included so it can seat eight people. It can tow just about anything. I have all the parts to put it back together other than the engine (see pics). The mechanic said it was toast and scrapped it after removing all the necessary parts. You could put in another V-10 and just drive it that way, or (and this would be very cool) use this as a basis for a Cummins or Power Stroke diesel swap. Wouldn't that be awesome?
