I have for sale a 1978 GMC 4x4 stepside short box pickup. It runs and drives excellent. It has a 350 V8 engine with a 400 automatic transmission. It has 1/2 ton frame with 3/4 ton axles and lockouts. It has a 6 inch. lift with no blocks. It has an Edelbrock carburator, intake, and air cleaner. It has a newer looking fuel pump and it does have a new distributor cap & rotor and spark plugs. It has descent brakes and it has 14 x 35 Gumbo Monster tires that are in descent shape. It shows it has 80,000 miles on it but it may be 180,000 miles. The body is in pretty good shape. It does though have some misc. rust but it's not too bad especially for one of these trucks. The rust is mainly on the cab corners, a little on the box sides and tail gate, and a little on the fenders. The floor boards have been replaced before but it looks like they can use some more work since there are a few holes next to the door jams but the door jams are solid. The box is pretty solid and it has a wooden floor which could use some new wood. The interior of the truck could use some work such as misc. upholstery, etc. It has nice sunroof that does not leak. It has aftermarket gauges inside of the truck that has oil pressure, amp, tachometer, and water temperature that all work good. It has 45-50lbs of oil pressure. The gas gauge doesn't work. I don't believe it leaks any fluids or anything like that. It has a dual exhaust without tail pipes. It has a reese hitch on the rear of it. The bumpers are in good shape. This would be a nice truck that wouldn't really require much work. It'd be an easy restoration project or a great mud truck. This truck is sold "as is" "where is" with no warranty. Truck must be picked up and payed for within 7 days of auction closing. I accept cash in person, money order, and check in person (once cleared). I do not accept Paypal.
