Vehicle Detail
This is a very dependable. Reliable work truck. This has been a farm truck for years. Its rugged and not the best shape but a solid truck for hauling or ,moving. The rugged part is it has cracks on windhshield. it is a little loud (not too bad) It has some rust here and there but for an old Ford its really not that bad (as you can see in pics). The wheel wells (which is all rusted out on our other truck) are in pretty good shape. It has rust through the most on like the driver side running board area. The radio does not work and we think it coluld benefit from an alignemnt. Though it runs pretty straight down the road. This thing fires up very well, Has a very stong running engine that sounds great. Tranny feels good, we have seen NO leaks, Cruise control works good, all the lgihts work good, 2 tires are farily good another 2 are really good. We think this could make any kind of long distance trip. Well wtihin reason. The back door gate thing is kind of rigged on there. (In pic we just have it laying in back of truck, we have since put it back on but left side is secured with a bungee) but its somewhat functional. Hmmm, the interior is in pretty good shape for the year. THere is a speaker cover covering the old one in dash (old one is beat up looking) other than that there are a few minor tears cracks in dash and there is a seat cover very nicely installed that we have never looked under so as far as we can tell there are no rips or tears in the seats. Carpet looks good. Thisi s a two tone blue white f-150. Very old so has its hare of issues but great for a reliable work truck. It could easily be a daily driver also. We recently bought this for a very good price from relative, we already have another F-150 thats an extended cab and we are keeping that. We bought this with the intention of selling it. It was not running when we bought it so we thought wed just take whats good and scrap it for a small profit (as relative didnt want to fool with it, and has the money to not worry about it lol). however, we took it in and it was the fuel pump, solenoid and carb, all have been fixed for a very good deal (Our mechanic says these engines are easy to manuever??..whatever, asa long as it didnt cost us a bundle..lol. In any case Were hoping to get our money back and a little extra for padding+ . We are listing this at no reserve hoping that it will bid up to value. We dont have a clue what to ask for this truck. Thanks for looking. Jen On Mar-25-12 at 18:00:46 PDT, seller added the following information: A FEW GREAT QUESTIONS THAT WE ARE GLAD THAT CAME UP, THART WE EITHER FORGOT OR DIDNT THINK TO MENTION: ---- THE FUEL GAGE IS NOT FUNCTIONING. ALL OTHER GAGES WORK FINE. ---WE STATED IN LISTING ALL LIGHTS WORK FINE. WE WERE REFERRING TO HEADLIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS, SIGNALS ETC...FORGOT THE INSIDE CAB LIGHT DOESNT COME ON. COULD BE AS SIMPLE AS A FUSE OR BULB BUT BY THE TIME THIS QUESTION CAME UP WE HAD ALREADY LEFT OUT OF TOWN (SO HAVENT CHECKED) AND HAVE NEVER BOTHERED WITH IT BECAUSE IT WAS NO BOTHER TO US. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK MORE QUESTIONS, WE WILL NOT INTENTONALLY WITHOLD ANY INFO BUT SOMETIMES LITTLE THINGS WE PAY LITTLE TO NO ATTENITON TO MAY BE IMPORTANT TO OTHERS (NOT TO MENTION WE JUST MAY OVER LOOK THINGS). THE THINGS WE ARE CERTAIN (THAT WERE MOST IMPORTANT TO US ANYWAY) IS THIS TRUCK RUNS UNBELIVABLY WELL FOR ITS AGE. fIRES RIGHT UP, RUNS VERY WELL, AND HANDLES VERY WELL. AS MY HUBBY SAYS ENGINE AND TRANNY SOUND AND FEEL GREAT. AND THOUGH ITS VERY OLD AND WITH ITS SHAR OF BLEMISHES IT IS NOT AN EYE SORE. PLEASE CHECK QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AS IF OTHER QUESTIONS COME IN WE WILL POST.
