Vehicle Detail
1974 Rickman CR750 #4146G You have the opportunity to own what may be the finest restored example of this iconic machine on the planet. This bike has undergone a complete 100% nut and bolt restoration by The Honda Doctor, Phil White. Phil's Cycle opened their doors in 1967, and have serviced, customized and restored Honda motorcycles for 45 yrs. No time or expense was spared to make this into a beautiful museum quality bike, with the reliability of a Honda. Although the odometer reads 13,316 Miles, this is essentially a new bike with less than 50 shakedown miles The motor has been completely rebuilt. The motor has been disassembled, cases painted, and all bearings, seals, rings, and gaskets replaced with correct OEM Honda parts when available and with the highest quality replacement parts when OEM parts were unavailable. Carburetors have been rebuilt and all replaceable parts have been replaced. Although you probably won't, there is no reason why you couldn't ride this bike daily. Everything works exactly as it should. No disappointments! Cylinder head, cover and all shiny parts have been professionally polished to a mirror shine. The Rickman nickel frame, swingarm and center stand are in beautiful shape, with no damage, all nickel parts have been professionally polished to a mirror shine. All fasteners and hardware have been professionally zinc plated. The correct HM341 exhaust and headpipes are in like new condition, with no bumps, scrapes, scratches or damage. The original hubs and Borrani rims have been professionally polished, and the wheels have been re-laced, trued, and balanced; fresh rubber has been mounted. The original AP Lockheed brakes (calipers, master cylinders) have been rebuilt and restored to as new condition. any replaceable parts were replaced. The original Girling shocks are in beautiful shape. The original all fiberglass tank has been sealed with Caswell tank sealer to make it impervious to any modern fuel additives. The tank, side covers, seat, front fender, and fairing sports fresh new correct modern paint. The windshield is brand new and correct from Gustafsson's. The seat/saddle is professionally upholstered in leather. The pictures tell the story of this bike. If you need more information, please email or call. I've seen a few CR750s go through the auctions in Las Vegas and Daytona, but none have been as nice as this one. I am not the owner of this bike; however, I have watched the restoration of this bike for the last two years, and Phil asked me to sell it for him (as I have several other blue chip CB750s). This bike has not been offered for sale in the past, and it is inmy humble opinion, the is the nicest CR750 I've ever seen. You've eaten off plates that are not as clean as this motor. There is a reasonable reserve on this bike, it is below the selling price of similar machines at several auctions, and of course, there is no Buyer's Premium. This is an investment grade bike that should continue to increase in value. Please feel free to call Two-Four-Eight-673-6247 or email if you have specific questions about this bike. If you would like to stop by the shop and see this bike or other beautifully restored Hondas, we can help facilitate that. Just email us and let us know. The nitty-gritty: We can hold the bike for you, while you make shipping arrangements. We have no issues with international buyers. We can recommend a professional, reasonable, and reliable shipper (Wolverine Cycle). International buyers will need to contact a broker to facilitate the shipment of the bike, again, we recommend Wolverine Cycle, as we've transported many bikes with them, and had nothing but good experiences, unlike the experiences we've had with some other transporters. There is a clear title. There will be no issues with title transfer. There is a $1000 non-refundable PayPal deposit that is due within 48 hours of auction end.We expect full payment via International Bank Transfer, US Bank Cashier's Check, or USD within 14 days of the end of the auction. Please do not bid if you do not have available funds to complete the transaction. There is no drama involved with the sale of this bike, please don't add any.On Mar-21-12 at 06:21:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Sellers: Get your own map today. Click here now.
