Vehicle Detail

1991 4WD Toyota truck, extended cab, 5-speed, 4 cylinder (22re), in exceptionally good condition for its age. Hard to find combination, as most extended cabs came in automatic, V6. This truck is the last of its kind: mechanical, and built to last! Bridges the gap between the older, straight axle trucks, and the Tacoma with an updated body and much smoother suspension. Recently rebuilt transmission and drive shafts have been gone over. Fresh fluids in both diffs, transfer case, and trans; truck does not leak a drop. 4WD works as it should, both high and low. Brakes work perfectly and have plenty of pad left. New shocks, brand new A/T tires, new muffler/exhaust end, and a fully rebuilt engine (brand new head, too) with only 12k miles on it (have receipt)! New clutch to radiator, new starter to fuel injection components: nearly everything attached to the engine has been replaced in the last year. All works except AC needs to be hooked back up (have some new components included). Interior is in good shape, body has typical truck dings, rock chips, and scratches, but still looks nice (see minor left quarter area damage). Spent most of its life in central Arkansas, so its been spared from road salt. No rust on the frame or body. Comes with custom built utility rack, heavy duty bed mat, and tow hitch. Here's your chance to get a rebuilt truck ready for another 250k, at a fraction of the price of a new one. Have nearly $7k in the truck, but moving soon, need to sell. Missouri requires a state inspection and this truck passed with ease. The inspection station did mention that the idler arm had just a tiny bit of play in it. All tie rods, ball joints, and cv's checked out great, along with everything else. Sway bar bushings are squeaking occasionally and could be replaced or bar removed (this is a very easy fix with simple tools). Any questions, please ask. Calls ok: fouroneseven 8six4 sixfour28. Interested buyers are more than welcome to schedule a time to look at the truck. Thanks, K On Mar-23-12 at 08:56:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to add a few things and answer some of the questions I have had about the truck. This truck still sits at factory specs: its never been hacked, lifted, or abused. Don't let the miles scare you, as most of the miles on it are highway miles according to what I heard through the previous owner (and what he heard). Previous owner used it to drive to work and back. Its been well cared for over the years. This is a smooth riding, straight driving truck. Either it never really hauled anything heavy, or the suspension has been rebuilt at some point, because it sits and handles like a newer truck. The underside is all original paint, it hides nothing: no rust! Heat works great. Brakes work perfectly: stops strong, no pulls or shakes. Engine compartment shines with new parts, many of which are dealer parts, even down to the new factory dipstick! New timing chain/cover, master cylinder, tune up parts, all fuel injection components, all clutch, radiator, belts, hoses, sensors, starter, alternator, etc. I'm not interested in hyping the truck, but I do want potential buyers to know it stands out from the rest. Its a steal at the starting bid and well worth at least the $6800 I have in it. You can not build a truck like this for that price! I get compliments on it all the time, sad to see it go :(. Its been a great daily driver. Bid with confidence: I have 100% positive feedback for about 10 years now. I have done what I can to describe the truck as I know it. That said, it is your responsibility as a buyer to ask any questions and do the research prior to auction end. Truck is sold as is where is. Do not bid unless you can back that bid with dollars, please! If you plan on shipping the truck, it needs to be shipped out within 2 weeks of auctions end. I can recommend a shipping company that will do this with ease. We are moving soon; this is the only reason for selling. Best luck!
