This 1965 Convertible is a great example of how to restore a Mustang. The car was completely restored, with rebuilt 200ci engine, power steering, and power top. Every little detail was either reconditioned or replaced. Done to a very high driver grade, it needs nothing to use and enjoy today. Mechanically, this car performs great. The engine pulls strongly, does not smoke, and the car shifts very smoothly. The drum brake system works great. Everything works on the car. The frame and floors are very solid. Body: -Car was repainted 2 years ago in Wimbledon white, excellent shine. I would rate it 7.5 out of ten. No rust showing anywhere, up or down. -Very solid car with solid floors, and frame rails. All of this was repaired or replaced during the restoration. -Doors close super solid with no sag, no rust on door bottoms or in jams. -All glass in excellent condition, Windshield and gasket are brand new. -Trim is all present and of very good quality. -Bumpers new. -Trunk is in very good condition. -New gas tank. Mechanical: -Car drives very strong, very solid feel, goes down the road straight and smooth. -The rebuilt 200ci engine is super smooth, new Carb. -It starts quickly, idles smoothly, and pulls right up to redline. -The engine compartment is very clean. -The 3 speed Automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth. -Electronic ignition and distributor for reliability. -All gauges work fine. -Power steering makes driving easy, again new components. -Complete new suspension front and rear, everything replaced. -Complete new brake system works great, firm pedal, straight stops -New muffler, runs quiet. -New radial tires. -Heater and vent system works. -All lights, turn signals work fine. -Wipers work fine. Interior: -Every entire piece of the interior was replaced, none nicer, it really sparkles! -Original Console (worth $750). -New vinyl seat covers. -Carpets were also replaced. -Power Convertible top is new goes up and down quickly -New boot cover. -Mustang aftermarket cassette/ radio player works fine. This 1965 Convertible is a great example of how to restore a Mustang. The car was completely restored, with rebuilt 200ci engine, power steering, and power top. Every little detail was either reconditioned or replaced. Done to a very high driver grade, it needs nothing to use and enjoy today.

Mechanically, this car performs great. The engine pulls strongly, does not smoke, and the car shifts very smoothly. The drum brake system works great. Everything works on the car. The frame and floors are very solid.

-Car was repainted 2 years ago in Wimbledon white, excellent shine. I would rate it 7.5 out of ten. No rust showing anywhere, up or down.

-Very solid car with solid floors, and frame rails. All of this was repaired or replaced during the restoration.

-Doors close super solid with no sag, no rust on door bottoms or in jams.

-All glass in excellent condition, Windshield and gasket are brand new.

-Trim is all present and of very good quality.

-Bumpers new.

-Trunk is in very good condition.

-New gas tank.

Mechanical:

-Car drives very strong, very solid feel, goes down the road straight and smooth.

-The rebuilt 200ci engine is super smooth, new Carb.

-It starts quickly, idles smoothly, and pulls right up to redline. -The engine compartment is very clean.

-The 3 speed Automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth.

-Electronic ignition and distributor for reliability.

-All gauges work fine.

-Power steering makes driving easy, again new components.

-Complete new suspension front and rear, everything replaced.

-Complete new brake system works great, firm pedal, straight stops

-New muffler, runs quiet.
