I purchased this 289 C-Code '65 Fastback from a private seller in 2002 and since then it has always been garaged, never driven in rain/snow, and been an occasional weekend driver. Prior to my purchase, the following work had been done: motor rebuild, brakes, front suspension, new radiator, new 4 barrel Edelbrock Carb, aluminum intake, master cylinder, wheel bearings, upper & lower balls, lower control arms and bushings, new carpet, front seats, dash pad, dash bezel, headliner, sill plates, and sun visors. Nice BF Goodrich radial T/A tires and original Magnum 500 Rims with new center caps. Interior shows very well and in excellent condition. Body is in very good overall condition with very minor damage about size of quarter on front valance just below the front bumper (I did not repair since it is barely noticeable). Paint is not perfect but nice overall. Front bumper shows excellent with very shiny chrome. Rear bumper appears to be original with pitting. The color is the original Vintage Burgundy with Black interior, very eye catching combination. All glass is good with no cracks. Original AM radio in good working condition. All gauges & instrumentation in good working order. The door handle buttons stick occasionally, probably just need to be greased. Car starts and runs well with plenty of V-8 muscle under the hood. This car gets a lot of attention every time I take it out. Mileage stated is in excess of mechanical limits. Reason for selling: baby on the way and must sell to make room in garage for wife's car.
