1966 Mustang, notchback. This car was disassembled twelve years ago with the goal of restoration. In the process, many parts are now missing. The buyer would receive the unibody, doors, seats, hood, trunk rear and side glass, long block, front suspension. The transmission and differential are gone. The longblock of the engine is available, but many parts were stripped from that for another project. I purchased this car in Texas. It spent one summer here in Michigan and then was put into a storage facility and has stayed there since. There is rust on the car, but it is not the sort of al pervasive stuff that we see here in the mid-West. The concerning areas are the lower rear quarter panels, the trunk area around the fuel tank (which has been functionally repaired) and the rear trunk area. I have not seen any areas of structural concern. Original color was Tahoe Turquoise with turquoise interior. The original engine was a 6 cylinder, but this was changed to a V-8. The V-8 that was removed was a 302 that was in very good condition. I installed a cable clutch release mechanism which was working without issue at the time of disassembly. The front brakes are discs from stainless steel brake corporation. The front radiator supports were modified to allow use of a larger radiator. VERY IMPORTANT:Because of the state of this vehicle (no rear axle) removal of this car and placement on a trailer is going to be difficult and require a lot of hands. Keep this in mind when bidding!
