Vehicle Detail
Several watchers asked if the item would be relisted, ok here it is do your best. =============================================================================================== This Sport Coupe was purchased in California and shipped to Texas where it remained stored for 4 years. It was sent back to California some 4 months ago for consolidation and shipping overseas, but the auto import regulations at the destination country changed and it can't be registered upon arrival. I will try to sell it or it will be finished, painted and returned to storage. Body: Original color was red, most of the car is now in gray primer. You can still see original paint on the back and engine bay. A little dent on the front/driver side fender and a very small dent on the rear-right-tail. Small rust around the bottom side of the front and rear glasses. I have the rear glass chromed pieces not shown in the pic but do not have the rear-right-tail chrome strip.Small body rust along the edge of the rear bumber. Small rust underneath the trunk door, alongside the reinforcements. The rest of the body is very solid. The undercarriage is solid, floors are rustfree. All glasses are in great shape.*I have the hood grilles and left front fender light shown missing in the pics. Interior: Original upholstery is in great condition, undamaged The roof cover is a little loose on the rear side, it is also originalDrivers side window needs a new cable, the window and mechanism are there, the door hasn't been disassembled. As far as I remember all gauges worked Engine: Very solid 2000 cc1608 cams Original factory dual Weber 40mm IDF - 13/15 on factory waffle manifold, jetted for the 2000cc engine.Electronic ignition/cam housing distributor Transmission:Original 5 speed. Shifts well but the second gear does not stay locked when shifting, I hold the shifter until shifting to third and complete the cycle without difficulties. It does not seem to be a synchronizer, does not emit the typical worn-out-synchro noise. The rest of the functions are great, no vibrations or noises. Wheels: Original factory Cromodora wheels with factory Fiat caps and good tires. Options-Not included in the car sale: If interested, I have original 068 Abarth cams that could be copied for new billets and sold to you. We will not sell the 068's.Also have a mint factory Abarth Volumetrico cylinder head with big valves and springs, code 5936188, that can be sold for $500.00. Bought it in Italy a few years ago for $600.00. Cam pics are included. Please excuse the telephone camera pics. This is the information to the best of my ability, if you are a Fiat enthusiast you know what I am selling...minimum bid is $5,000.00. I reserve the right to end the bid at any moment since it is being offered locally. If necessary I can help with shipping within the U.S. or overseas.
