1977 Datsun 280z with only 85,114 actual original miles (odometer has never turned over). 5 Speed manual shift (highly desirable) with original red shifter knob. Interior is exceptional + super clean (no cracks anywhere). Has Factory Air Conditioning (compressor and belts are good). All glass is in good shape, no pits or cracks. Motor runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly through all 6 gears (1-5,+Reverse). Seats are in good condition with only minor wear on the drivers seat bottom. Gauges all work properly except the clock. Parking brake light is stuck on. Panels and carpet are in great shape with only some light fading in the rear cargo area. Dashboard is original, perfect and looks like new! (always kept it covered when out of the garage). Aluminum alloy mag wheels are correct for the period with 4 New Tires. I also have the "stock" air dam (not pictured), Original owner's manual and hood emblem. I just spent $972 to replace all 6 fuel injectors (ALL NEW), new fuel filter, new water pump & flush cooling system. Also, just had BRAND NEW TIRES put on it yesterday ...and got the oil changed too. Vehicle has been inspected by a professional mechanic for; Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Shocks, Struts, Exhaust System, Wipers, Lights, Cooling System, Belts, Transmission, Battery & Starter. It starts right up and engine runs strong! This is a very nice 280z in really good condition. 100% original (except paint). Right rear bumper rubber piece is missing. Needs light body work and paint. There is a dent on the left front fender (pictured). Turn signals not working. Factory A/C needs a recharge. There are 3 small rust spots on the body but nothing major (pictured). These can be fixed easily while the paint & body work is being done. This car needs a little work ...but you will not find a better 280z project car anywhere. I bought this 280z from the Datsun Dealer, way back in 1978 (I am the second owner). It had been previously owned and had 13K miles on it when I took delivery. This car has always been stored inside of my garage. I filed a DMV non-op in 1991. Comes with a clean California title, invoices, service records and original keys. Motor starts, runs, idles steadily and is really responsive. No leaks or smoke. Original 5 speed manual transmission and newer clutch shifts smoothly. This is a classic for any Z car enthusiast or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car at a great price. I always wanted to put my Classic 280z back on the road but now I MUST SELL.
