Vehicle Detail
Everybody says they have a barn find, but this one really is. I have not done anything to this car other than replace the tires. The original bias ply tires were dry rotted and I wanted it to roll without damaging the wheels. All of the glass is good except for a crack in the rear door glass on the driver side. All of the chrome and stainless pieces are there and in pretty good shape. The stainless on the front drivers fender has popped over the rear clip that is still present. Starting with the front of the car the leading edge of the hood has some rust. The hood opens easily without binding and all of the engine compartment apears complete and no rust on firewall or inner fender wells. The original Hurricane decal is still on the valve cover and the motor looks as if you poured some gas down the carb it would fire. No signs of rodent damage on any parts or wiring. Passenger side shows some rust through in spots on the rocker. Rear has a rust spot near the gas tank lid on the right side above the bumper and the left tail light lens is broken. Driver side has some rust in the rocker panel and the rear door is showing some bubbling in the front corner. Door glass has a crack in the lower front corner. Front fender stainless has come loose from the clip. All 5 of the hubcaps are in the back seat. The interior is all there and decent. The top of the rear seat and package tray is the worst of the inside. The floors feel solid when I tap them with the butt of a screwdriver over the carpet. The car rolled smoothly onto my trailer in neutral gear. I have a clear Texas title but could not find any keys for the ignition or trunk. This car is being sold as is and will have to be transported as an inoperable vehicle. Please don't send a transporter that expects it to drive onto a trailer!!! Buyer is completely responsible for transport. Questions can be emailed or call Mike 817-944-2240 Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. I do not have the key to open the trunk but a picture of the underside of the spare tire well shows no rust there, so I expect there is not rust in the trunk. The floor pans show NO cancer in either side, front or rear from the under side. I also tapped around on the floor pans from the top with the but of a screwdriver and they sounded solid in all corners.
