Vehicle Detail

This auction is for my 2003 BMW F650 GS with 3858 original miles. It runs perfect and is in very good condition for it's age. It comes with a set of Wolfman bags mounted to Gigi racks. This bike gets a reliable 70 MPG. There are no cracks or breaks on the body trim. No dents or rust on frame. The only thing that is cosmetically wrong with the bike is some battery acid splash on trim covers on the left side of engine. When I bought the bike the dealer said it most likely happened when battery acid splahed back from the overflow hose. The last three pictures are closeup shots of the splash area. The parts that are affected are all trim covers that can be replaced if you want. They are available on ebay right now and total less than 75.00 for all three. The bike is a great looking bike and turns heads everywhere. The bike was purchased from Eurosports Motors in Loveland Colorado. When I bought the bike two years ago it had about 1885 miles on it. Buyer can pick the bike up and ride it home or arrange to have it shipped at buyers expense. If you want to have it shipped you must make all the arrangements. The bike does not come with a warranty. The title is free and clear and will be given to buyer (In person)or sent via express mail after payment clears. Note: The picture of the odometer shows 3822 miles but I rode the bike back home after I took the pictures. Actual miles are 3858. You just don't see a 2003 BMW F650 GS with such low miles very often. It is barely broke in. Buy it and ride it anywhere!!!Size and Weight The F 650 GS is a rather tall motorcycle, with a seat height that measures 30.7 inches. It has a wheelbase that measures 58.23 inches. Its dry, unladen weight is 425 lbs., which can make it a little hard to handle for shorter riders who find issue with the tall seat height. Combined with its one-cylinder engine, the F 650 GS has a power to weight ratio of 0.26 horsepower per kilogram of weight. It has a total fuel capacity of 4.57 gallons and a reserve capacity of 1.19 gallons.Engine Specifications Powering the F 650 GS is a single cylinder engine that has a total displacement of 652 cc, or 39.79 cubic inches. It has a four-stroke operation and is capable of traveling from a stop to 60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds. The engine generates 50-peak horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 43.9 ft.-lbs. of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine of the F 650 GS is mounted as close to the center of the frame as possible in order to achieve an even weight distribution.Suspension and Braking The front suspension is non-adjustable; however, the rear suspension allows for adjustment via a dial mounted on the motorcycle near the handlebars. At its stiffest setting, the motorcycle is more nimble, but when set at its lowest and softest setting, allows for a more comfortable ride, especially when riding on the road opposed to off-road. Equipped to the bike's 19-inch front wheel is a 300-mm diameter disc brake while a 240-mm diameter disc brake is equipped to the bike's rear 17-inch wheel.
