THE HISTORY The 525iAT Wagon has only 138,545 miles on it... that may sound like a lot but it is actually only 13k miles per year which is less than the normal 15k miles per year most people do !!! The VIN is WBADS43442GD86238. It was built at BMW's Assembly Plant in Germany in September of 2001. It was sold Brand New on October 19th of 2001 with just 4 miles on the odometer by Devon Hill BMW in Devon PA to the original owner who lived in Palm City Florida. This original owner enjoyed this 525iT for the term of the lease and instead of giving it back at lease end decided to release it and keep it longer. This shows pride of ownership. After enoying this 525iT for a total of five and a half years, in February of 2007 and with 82,362 miles on the odometer, this original owner turned this 525iT back in to the leasing company. This leasing company sold this 525iT to a luxury vehicle dealership in Fort Lauderdale Florida who put this 525iT out for sale and quickly found it a new loving owner. This second owner began enjoying this 525iT on April 14th of 2007. This owner lived in Fort Lauderdale, which is a very affluent area in Southern Florida. She is very peppy and I drove it on the highway and looked down and saw I was doing 80 and the engine had plenty more power to give me. Although this 525iT is not a creampuff or considered a collector quality showcar; it certainly looks absolutly wonderful for its age and mileage although it does have some stone chips and a few surface scuffs/scratches are evident here and there. The paint is still deep and glossy except on the roof it is starting to fade. The interior shows very little wear... the leather looks very clean and is free of any significant tears or fade. The carpeting is still plush and free of any significant staining or tearing. The trim is free of any significant fade or cracking. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. The tires on this BMW are Nexen N5000 P225/55R16's with approx 40% of tread life left in the front and with approx 10% of tread life left (they should be changed soon). I have two master keys (one has a dead internal battery), the cargo cover, the toolkit and jack, and the full set of owners manuals.
