To this day, the original paint shines extremely well. The paint has a few very minor imperfections as shown in photo album linked above. This 100% rust free California car has a clean title. The body is very straight and lines up extremely well. Interior (9/10): The cloth front and rear seats are in great condition considering the age of the vehicle. There are no rips or tear in the seats. The main floor carpet has been professionally steam cleaned. The headliner is in excellent shape with no sagginess. The steering wheel, shift knob, glove box, instrument cluster are all in great working order. Engine/Transmission (9.0/10): I must say the engine is one of the strongest points of this car. The engine hums happily through the revs. No funny noises or hesitations. The compression is solid across all 4 cylinders and the engine does not leak at all. Please note: the transmission has a present whine through gears 1-3 and 5! Though, the 5-speed transmission does upshift and downshift very smoothly through all the gears with no grinding whatsoever. The clutch is very strong and grabs immediately. This van is truly a pleasure to drive. Suspension/Brakes (9.0/10): The car comes to a solid stop from 80 MPH with no hesitation or vibration. The brakes are in great shape and will not need any attention anytime soon. I can also assure a tight, clunk/rattle free ride in this Toyota Van. The steering also feels very precise. I would not at all hesitate to drive this car anywhere!
