This 1956 RR Silver Cloud I Saloon was delivered to Newark NJ via the SS Britannic on 7 July 1956. We have the records of ownership since new. This car is in excellent condition. Between 1955 and 1959 a limited number of the Silver Cloud I Saloon model were produced by Rolls Royce. They all used the 6 cylinder 4887cc engines The Silver Cloud I is the original design with the single headlight which is certainly the best looking style. When in combination of the tall grand RR front radiator shell topped off with the Winged Victory Goddess this Rolls Royce will always be considered a great automobile. The car has a modern air conditioning system installed in a pleasing manner so as not to distract from the original appearance of the instrument panel or interior furnishings. The interior is in very good condition. The wood could use a coat of varnish. Notice the details of the car, the carpets, headliner and all interior trim present evidence that this car has always been carefully maintained and preserved. Inside the trunk is all the original trappings, the tool kit is present as well. The estate of the most recent owner has decided to let it go to a new home. The car is in the Napa Valley California. We can assist in finding transport and certainly can make it available for inspection. I have posted two videos of this car. I had intended to allow you to hear the engine running, but with the very quiet smooth low pitch sound these great cars have, it was difficult to hear anything but background noise.
