For sale is a 1968 Volvo P1800S project. I purchased this car off a gentleman who started a rotisserie restoration in 2003. The car needs some final finishing touches and a new paint job. The gentleman i bought it from lost storage and it appears as though the paint wasn't prepped properly and you can see in the pictures that the paint is cracking and pealing to bare metal. The car has no rust that I have found other than light surface rust where the paint has pealed. Frame, floor boards and trunk are in excellent condition. Too many new parts to list but the car has a rebuilt engine, new carpet, new leather seats and door panels, new headliner, most chrome is new or rechromed and is in good condition. There are some pieces that do show some wear from being outside and from the pictures you can see a couple dings in two of the chrome pieces. The gas tank has been relined, there are new gas lines, new brakes, and new brake lines. The car does run and drive but carburetors need adjusted. A few of the things that need to be finished are hood needs to be mounted, headlights, turn signals and brake lights need to installed. There are alot of receipts in this car and the reserve is set at less than a third of what has been invested into this car. There are many new parts that haven't been listed and are too numerous to mention. With a new paint job and a little assembly, you could have one of the nicest P1800's around. Vehicle will need to be trailered due to the turn signals and brake lights not being installed but assemblies come with the car. I believe all the parts are there and there are many extra parts to finish the car. The only thing I have looked for and not found was one window crank. This car deserves to be finished and enjoyed, I just do not have the time to do it. If you are looking for a P1800, this is a great opportunity that is hard to find. The hard work is done.
