Vehicle Detail
The item you are bidding on is a 82 jeep that has been turned into a mud truck. Before you read any further I would like to note that I will provide a bill of sale but no title. I do have a clean title on it that was signed over into someone elses name back in 2005 I never titled it in my name therefore the title is really no good. But on a vehicle like this that shouldnt matter because it is strictly an off road vehicle. I have had a blast in this jeep but lost interest in it about three years ago. It has an unspecified amount of lift on it, Im not sure how much I would say at least fifteen inches. It has a set of 39.5x15x15 boggers on it yes they are fifteen inches wide. I bought these tires and only took the jeep out twice with them on it. I paid 1700 dollars for the four tires and they are still like new. It has a winch on the front that worked last time I used it but the winch has no controller you have to just touch the wires together or make yourself a switch. It has a 304 engine that is good but hasnt been started in over a year. I had it started about a year and a half ago and ran fine but went out to start it a while back and the carb was all froze up. The bumpers that are on it are indestructible the back I believe to be a rock crusher or something. It has a dana sixty front end and a one ton ford in the rear. Both differentials are good the transfer case and transmission are good but the transmission does have an ear broken of that holds for the slave cylinder to go in, I have always just put a bugee cord on it and never had a problem. This jeep is in pretty rough shape but it is a mud truck. I think there is still a bunch of mud in it from the last time I took it out. The motor in this jeep ran very strong for me and if the tires are spinning this thing aint getting stuck. It has a small fuel cell in it but it is all filled with junk and needs a new lid. I think the seats are in pretty good shape in it besides the fact that it has sat outside for three years uncovered but jeep seats are made for that. The whole body inside and out is painted with rhino lining. It has no power steering pump, its all you. The frame I believe to be in pretty good shape, I did rip the steering box off the frame years ago and put it back on with a piece of 3/8 steel plate welded into the front bumper and to the frame. [Never had a problem with that again]. The steering is pretty sloppy because it has the original steering components hooked up to a set of monster tires. The hood has a square hole cut in the top of it that I used for a snorkel. It aint no show truck its something u can take out and smash stuff up and not worry about it. For a size reference the hood of this jeep sits about 5ft 8in off the ground, its huge. The first picture that I have listed was the last time I had it out. If the buyer would like I will deliver it for a fair cost but I will have to be paid before departure that way if I get stood up I will be paid for my travel. On Mar-09-12 at 22:11:03 PST, seller added the following information: The seats arent in the greatest shape I went and looked them over today, they are still very useable and practicle for what this jeep is set up to do. Things that I hadnt noticed before: It does have an edelbrock intake and valve covers and I have an extra edelbrock carb and a big holley off road carb that I paid 600 dollars for they will both need to be rebuilt as I said in the first part of my description when I said the carb was seized up. But both of these carbs come with it. The motor in this jeep definately has some internal upgrades in it, there is no way this engine is stock but I have no idea what is done to it. I just know that by the way it ran for me that someone has stuck some kind of aftermarket parts, maybe cam and other parts not sure but def something. Like I said in the other part of my description I think it is painted with rhino lining or something besides paint but not sure, and it does have rust as you would expect.
