In response to questions and pictures posted locally, I would like to clarify two concerns: 1. In the post I stated that this bike is “one of 5,000 built”. I have ascertained by one inquiry that this could be interpreted as this bike is the actual 1st bike of 5000 bikes built. Although it was only one inquiry, I wanted to clarify that this bike is not the first anniversary model that rolled off the line! If this was the case, my brother (whom I’m listing the bike for), would have quadrupled the asking price (lol…ohh hell….I would have bought it for myself even though I’m a Harley-Davidson guy!). (For future edification, the first run of completed bikes, anniversary or any models are generally reserved for promotion and other in-house company incentives that rarely make it to the general public at large.) 2. The left battery cover was replaced (stolen in the parking lot of a bike show last year) with the brown/pewter cover and not the brown/gold. It didn’t make much difference to my brother; however, since I offered $100 of the final price to the winner to have it painted to match to a local interested buyer, I’ll offer the same here on EBAY. Note: If any of these issues are a deal breaker with the current bidders, you can resign (or I can cancel) your bid without penalty and my complete support through EBAY. As you can see, I take my feedback (%100) very seriously and would not jeopardize it by intentionally misleading potential buyers! Thanks again for looking and happy bidding!!!! On Mar-10-12 at 11:26:10 PST, seller added the following information: **Update** Added more pictures in the sun light as requested. Again, not misleading anyone, but I guess I need to clarify some more things. This bike has been very well maintained, never been down (I never laid it down and the previous owner said he didn’t) and can be ridden anywhere in the U.S.A. in Honda tradition I am sure with no problem. However please keep in mind this motorcycle is (27) twenty-seven years old and may or may not have a few minor flaws (some faded paint, chips and scratches from the road, etc.) that I do not know about but this bike is in great condition and runs strong. Please take a good look at the pictures and feel free to ask any questions to me directly (Ray 4438069365…please text first and reference the Goldwing and I will call you back as soon as I can. I will not answer the phone to numbers I don’t know so……text me first…pleeeeaaaasssseeee!!). My brother is doing me a solid and cannot keep up with many email requests for more info. Since I have been riding over 35 years, I have always been more concerned about the engine and the ride more than the cosmetics so forgive me if the original posting gave you the impression that this was a “bike show contest winning” scoot. But it is definitely “road worthy and ready!” Appreciate all of the looks and feedback thus far! If you’re going to bail on a bid please do it now!! No love lost. Just want the winner to appreciate this bike as much as I have!! J Sincerely, Ray
