One of seventy (70) produced, ultra rare, 1995 T5R 850 yellow wagon available to a new home. This limited production, race inspired, 850T5R is in excellent condition with approximately 167,000 miles. Per a recent article in Hemmings Sport & Exotic (Feb 2012); the T5R was listed as one of the sixteen to buy for future collectors. "Volvo joined forces with TWR in 1993 to campaign the new front wheel drive 850 in BTCC racing, and from 1994-96, the 850 wagon and sedan were both raced. Volvo used the TWR racing development experience to create the 155mph T5R, which pushed the automakers's cars into uncharted performance territory. Available in black or trademark T5R yellow, with sport-suspended, BTCC-aping anthracite 17-inch Titan alloys and large front and rear spoilers, these 850s had upgraded engine software to push the 2.3-liter, 20-valve DOHC inline five to 240hp at 5,600 RPM and 221-lbs.ft of torque at 2,100 RPM."
