Up for auction is this 1981 VW Rabbit LS/Diesel. It is a 2 door hatchback, used, in nice solid condition. This car has working a/c and is a daily driver. This Rabbit is rust free which includes the under carriage, along the windsheild, as well as any other usual rust areas. This is a one owner car. We have the original window sticker to the car that will come along with this diesel Rabbit. We have paperwork showing maintenance records, and some very unique original paperwork. As you can see from the pictures, the car does need a head liner, could use a paint job, and perhaps some interior work. This is a running driving vehicle but is used and sold as is. We have done much of the maintenance over the years which does include a fairly recent timing belt change. The timing belt change was done at 261,780 miles. This car has a clear Florida title. Sales tax may apply depending upon your state law. We are a dealership so this car is for sale on our lot, however once the reserve has been met we will consider the car as sold and will not continue to advertise it as being for sale. At 282,984 miles this car was brought in for service and we R=R the cylinder head, new head gaskets, timing belt, air filter, fuel filter, vacuum pump re-build kit, valve covers, and a front end alignment was performed. This is a 4 speed manual transmission. I have a number of reciept that come along with this car... tire changes, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, oil changes, glo plugs, ect. they are all dated and have odometer readings on them. This car is 30 years old and sold as is but the owner has kept all records and has had alot of work completed as needed when needed.
