This Super Sharp Ford Ranger "EDGE" 2-wheel drive was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company and will be an easy fix and make a nice clean pick up for personal use or for resale.
The damage is bed, rear window and cab corner, pictures will show that there was no contact with the frame or rear axel. The truck drives straight down the road with stearing wheel centered and no dog track and wheel base is correct with no bent rear wheel. The appearence of the bed damge makes it look to be worse than what you will find when tore down. The engine is the popular 3.0L V6 that sounds perfect with no check engine or warning lights on and is full of clean oil with an up to date service with miles to go. Automatic Tranny shifts good also but trailering home would be recommended for safety and legal issues. Rear window was covered with plastic by the insurance company but removed for pictures and will be stored inside until picked up.
The overall truck is in good condition with no rust or hail dings and no sign of having a trailer hitch since new. Both fog lamps were removed when I received the truck and a good battery looks to have been replaced with a bad one?
The interior is also in good shape with comfortable recling bucket seats and looks to have belonged to a non-smoker. The options are tilt wheel, cruise control and 6-disc cd changer.
Carfax reported a clean history and a 3-Owner truck and will be available upon delivery.
