billscott92787 store Your are bidding on a 1979 Pontiac Firebird that has a rebuilt 400 Big Block and a rebuilt transmission!!! Vehicle has purchased to make T/A clone but changed mind. Vehicle is being sold as is since it is a used vehicle. The car has a rebuilt motor and transmission. Runs GREAT!!! The engine is out of a 69 GTO 400 Big Block not sure of the CAM size. Has the elderbrock intake 4 barrel. The person the vehicle was purchased from was going to make it a street or strip geared vehicle. It is real low needs to be changed probably for street use. Have ring and pinion in trunk 365. Now running around 400 or so. I would say it's not good for the highway based on how low the vehicle is. Great interior. It does have one rip in the seam on the driver seat front. Seats needs to be taken off and resewed. Paint is in good shape: Maroon + Gold flakes. The paint changes based on the way you look at it. Wheels are very nice, but the vehicle does need tires. Exhaust is in great shape, sounds GREAT. When the vehicle was purchased the person that put in the 400 Big block took the AC/Heater box out, so that would need to be put in if you need heat or A/C. Car will be an excellent car with very little work. GREAT buy if you looking for a nice ride with a little effort to make it a beauty! Also, I have another shifter and console to go with the car, they are not new but in good condition. In case you do not like the shifter that is currently in the car.
