1977 VW Convertible Super Beetle This car has been restored, garage kept, and is practically all new. All suspension front and rear has been rebuilt and replaced. All tie rods, both front struts and rear shocks were replaced then professionally aligned. The complete brake system was replaced. This entailed new master cylinder, new lines, new shoes, new hardware kits and new parking brake cable. The entire drive train was completely redone. Most restorations never touch the transaxle. This transaxle was removed, gone through, cleaned, inspected and added new high end gear oil. Even took the opportunity at this time to do the CV joints. A complete new engine was built especially for the intent of this car. All internals are new. Oversized 88.5mm jugs were installed for added power along with a new cam. The engine has less than 1,000 miles on it at this time. The fuel tank was replaced just to ensure clean fuel delivery. The car was completely disassembled to be repainted. The car was repainted inside and out. All new fender beading, trunk seal, engine seal, decklid seal, all handle seals, turn signal seals and more were replaced. The interior received new front and rear TMI carpet set, new TMI front seat covers, new TMI front and rear door panels with pockets, new rubbers everywhere needed, new heater cables, new sun visors, new windshield and more.
