Built in 1980 by Shay Motor Car Co. as a 50 year anniversary model of the 1929 Model A by Ford Roadster. It was built on a new Ford Chassis, purchased directly from Ford Motor Co. It was sold and serviced at all Ford dealerships. This roadster was made for only 3 years. 1979-81. Less than 5,000 were produced. These models are very dependable have great safety features unlike the older ones. This Super Deluxe Model include: 4cyl Pinto engine 4sp manual transmission Front disc brakes Rack & pinion steering am/fm cassette Flip-up rumble seat Windshield wipers Removable Top Side and rear curtains Signal lights and flashers luggage rack with original steamer trunk Heater Dual Ah-Hooga hornsMy Father purchased this car to take him on a memory lane trip back to when he 16 years old.He and I made several trips from Kansas City To Bartlesville Oklahoma for Family and Class Reunion gatherings.The Tires were replaced just before the last trip (the original ones had tons of tread but were weatherchecking) so they have less than 1000 miles on them. Runs like a champALSO! 4x6 trailer is included, this home built trailer was assembled to allow our family to sit on it for local parades. Because the trailer was never actually used other than for parades it was never inspected and titled and does not currently have the lighting installed although lighting kit is included if you would like to install for street use. Title and licensing home built trailers only requires an inspection and assignment of a VIN by an autherized trailer inspection station.
