Vehicle Detail
For sale "fresh out of my barn" is a 1940 chevy 3/4 ton pickup in origional unrestored condition. I purchased this truck a few years ago in Kanas for parts, but can't bring myself to rip it apart. 123-3/4" wheel base with 14" brakes, odometer shows 67034.6 but I have no way of verifying this! Original 6 cyl engine with 4 speed trans. engine doesn't run but turns over with a manual crank handle. Paint is original and it's obvious this truck has been stored inside for most of its life, headliner and header panel still attached, seat back cushion missing. Front fenders are in good shape, rear fenders have been "bobbed off" sometime ago. Running boards are in very good shape and the cab is in very good shape with no rust or rott in the typical areas(front of cab where it meets the fenders, rear of cab, shelf above windshield). I have the title to this truck. THIS TRUCK IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS WITH NO WARRENTY AND NO REFUND! PAYMENT: deposit of US $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close.Full payment required within 3 days of auction close. On Mar-09-12 at 08:43:32 PST, seller added the following information: I have the certificate of title from the state of Kansas showing assignment of title to me "the purchaser" as owner of this pickup.I never sent the title in to the state of North Carolina to have it put in my name because my purpose for this truck was for parts. Now that I'm selling this truck I will have the title certified in North Carolina in my name as a unoperatble vehicle since the truck is not road worthy at this time. This process could take up to 15 days.I will overnite the title to the new owner once I receive it,if the truck sells.I am sorry for the inconveniance this my cause any buyer.I have never sold a vehical before and I thought since I have in my possession the Certificate of Title from the state of Kansas showing me as the owner that was enough.
