A dispute will be opened to get a FINAL VALUE FEE CREDIT. 1971 Ford F250 Heavy Duty Special Sport Custom This is an awesome 40-year old truck. It has had 2 owners all its life and has been in California. Exterior The exterior of this F250 is in great condition. It has been painted a few years ago. The paint is decent and it shines well. This truck has no rust, since it has been in California all its life, only a couple of rain or water spots that show on the pictures. I would not call it rust, because I have seen rusted cars and this is nothing near that. You can touch up or paint it, it is your preference. It also has minor paint chips, nothing major. The bed of the truck has been sprayed professionally. The front windshield has a 9” crack on the driver’s side. It costs around $120 to be changed. The driver side wing window needs adjustment. Underneath the truck is pretty solid. Interior The interior of this truck has been done with charcoal black. It has newer carpet and headliner, dash cover, door panels and upholstered bench seat. It has Clarion CD player and Kenwood speakers have been added. It sounds good, but for some reason the CD player does not work, but the radio works. A couple of electric devices have been added. I think it is a phone connector and hands free microphone. Overall this truck’s interior is very nice and clean. MechanicalThis truck has a 360 motor with a 4 speed transmission. The motor sounds good and is very powerful. The transmission goes in to all gears fine. The odometer shows 60, 463 miles. I will not be surprised if this is the actual mileage on this truck, because of its well-kept condition. The clutch is good and strong with no extra noises. All the lights and gages work. This F250 has two gas tanks with the switch that is on the driver side floor to change from the two gas tanks. The tires are about 85% trade and the rear ones are bigger than the front. The power steering has a leak, and I think it is one of the hoses. The power steering oil takes a few days to empty. This F250 has a good muffler sound, it looks like has been changed, but is not loud at all. I do not have the door key, it is about $70 to make one. It has an alarm with a kill switch. The horn doesn’t work. The heater works fine. The windshield wipers work fine. Parking break works. This Ford F250 Sport Custom Heavy Duty is priced very reasonable for its condition.
