classic 1973 BMW R60/5 nice old beemer in good mechanical condition. the paint is faded. krauser bags, vetter fairing, rack factory rear luggage rack. good tires, new gel cell battery 2012, new brighter headlight bulb. this bike is extra in my collection. i have owned it since 1975. the speedometer is broken so i don't know the exact mileage. the engine has less than 1000 miles since an upper end rebuild. this included first oversize pistons and all new valves. plus we converted the rockers to the needle bearing style instead of the bushing style that came on /5's. improvements made to this bike include koni rear shocks, heavy duty front springs from BMW with the white paint markings on top. electronic ign with no points. old point plate in tool kit in the event of failure. aftermarket mufflers, lever activated throttle lock. clutch lever chain and pulley to make the clutch pull lighter at handlebars. comes with BMW tool kit and the BMW green tire patch kit. there is no rust in toaster gas tank. imperfections to be noted in pics. paint faded. hand grab bar around seat was broken so i welded it with brass. broken speedometer and tachometer. i used a GPS to determine speed ( not included ) windjammer has sand rash on right side but the fiberglass is good with no cracks. i have always loved this bike but i am retired with a bad knee. it is located in harlingen texas where i am a winter texan. this bike has a clear illinois title. you may call 630-750-5402 if you need more info. if i miss your call i will call you back.
