Up for sale is a 1986 T-Top Monte Carlo SS!!! This Monte Carlo comes with rare factory bench-seat & column shift package. This is an original SS and not an LS converted (check the VIN...it checks out)!! The body is in good condition with only a couple of dings no bigger than the size of a dime. Not noticeable at all. The car was recently repainted and looks very good. The motor has been replaced with a remanufactured Chevy High Output 305 and it idles and runs great, but all of the original external motor parts were re-used (intake manifold, carb, exhaust manifold, etc). This car does not smoke at all and, contrary to the 305 gas mileage, is not bad on gas at all. Since the original Rochester carb has been re-installed it will need a rebuild, but that does not hinder the performance of the car at all. I have a brand new Edelbrock 4 barrel carb that I can sell separately upon request. 40 series Flowmaster pipes are installed. There was a complete tune-up done on this car July 2011. I have receipts for all work that has been done on this car, to include the motor installed in it now, and will provide it to the winning bidder. The interior is in good condition as well. The original AM/FM cassette is still installed, so no aftermarket audio system has been installed. It also comes with a fully installed Dakota Digital Dash, but for those wanting the original look, I have the original dash clusters/guages and that will also be provided to the winning bidder. All electric windows and doors locks work as well. The a/c is fully connected and in working order. It has been converted to R-134a but will need a recharge because this is not my everyday car. The transmission is in great shape and it shifts smooth with no issues. This is a great car to possess so dont let this opportunity pass you by.
