For auction is my 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible. I have owned it for three years and have done some work on it since I bought it. It has a clear title, appears to be rust free. It has a good black interior that I installed with vehicle correct bucket seats and re-upholstered rear seat and side pannels. Carpet is in good shape and all seat belts are intact and functional. It has a 455 ci V8 engine with three speed automatic transmission. The rear end is 4:55 and the car will literally pop a wheely if you are not careful. I have had it professionally serviced since I bought it, with all records. All equipment and mechanics are turn key on this car. Recent new carburator, intake manifold and tune done professionally. The body is in excellent condition and the previous owner obviously had work done to it. All pannels are straight, but there is a hole cut in the hood for a ram air intake that I removed. The paint is decent driver condition, but has a semi dull finish to it. The paint was like that when I bought it. The convertible top has a few very minor holes tha are only noticed if you drive it in a down pour rain storm. Tires and wheels are in good condition, but not stock. The suspension is in good working order with no repairs needed. I has been slightly lowered, but I got it that way and lef it alone. To the best of my knowledge, this car has never been in an accident and drives straight down the road. I am asking a buy it now price of 12500, with a reserve of 10500. Buyer is responsible for shipping or transport. I shipped a car from Vermont to California for 950$ a couple of years ago to offer an example of shipping. A $2000 deposit is due 48 hrs after auction end, with the rest due 72hrs later. I am open to using an escrow account for the money transaction and will split the cost of that, but the vehicle return shipping would be on the buyer. Please do not bid on this car if you don't want it, can't afford it, or can't gather the money in time. Please no trades. No matter what you have, I do not want to trade.
