I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. An appointment MUST be made before coming to look at or test drive the vehicle. Up for No Reserve Auction is a low mileage 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. This SUV is powered by the 5.2L Jeep V8 engine, automatic transmission, and Quadra Trac full time four wheel drive. The engine fires right up, makes good oil pressure, and has plenty of V8 power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly, however the overdrive lockout is engaged and does not disengage. The Jeep still drives fine at highway speeds, it just runs at a higher RPM. (I am not a mechanic. I have no idea why this has happened, nor do I know how to fix it.) The Quadra-Trac full time four wheel drive with high & low range works as normal for an older Jeep. The suspension is in good condition. It has the Jeep normal play in the front suspension. The ABS brakes are good and stop straight. This Grand Cherokee is painted a very attractive green metallic paint with gold pinstripes and accents. This Jeep took excellent pictures, however it does have the usual small blemishes that an SUV picks up over the years. The only particularly noteworthy spot of damage is a quarter sized ding in the rear door (see pics). This Jeep does NOT have the usual rusted out fenders and huge holes in the rocker panels (see pics) that are so common on the older Jeeps. This Grand Cherokee has the optional upgrade painted alloy wheels. They are painted with gold accents to match the pinstripes and accents on the body. In the trunk is an unused, unblemished matching 5th alloy wheel with a never used tire. The interior of this Jeep is trimmed out in tan leather. The pillow-top seats have deep cushioning and good leather. Sitting in the driver's seat is like sitting in a Lazy-boy recliner. The leather is intact, not torn, splitting, or cracked. The driver & passenger front seats have working power adjustment. This Limited has the optional overhead console with digital compass, distance to empty, and MPG display as well as additional map lights. The sunglasses and tiny overhead storage bin no longer open. The headliner is this Jeep is in excellent condition. It is not falling down. There are quite a few other options loaded onto this SUV such as power windows, power locks with remote, power mirrors, and auto-dimming rear view mirror are all included and work as they should. The rear defrost and rear wiper function. The stereo currently in the Jeep is a factory Infinity Gold. The AM/FM radio functions, but does not power all the speakers and has poor sound quality. It clearly had an aftermarket sound system with amplifiers that has been removed and would need to be returned to factory condition or have amplifiers re-installed to have quality sound. This Jeep has the safety options of ABS brakes and air bag.
