Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1984 Buick Regal T-Type Turbo, Turbo-charged 3.8L V6, 65k miles. The grey on black exterior is in very good condition; the maroon interior is in excellent condition. The car is almost completely original and has been mostly garage kept. Original owner. Factory Options: AutomaticAC Cruise Tilt SteeringPower WindowsPower LocksAM/FM/Cassette Original Premium Sound SystemDigital Dash Modifications: Hot-wired fuel pumpGreen stripe fuel injectorsIgnition module/coil pack rewired for 1986-87 module/coil packVDO oil pressure and boost gauges in center consoleRear seat bracing installed Replaced/Updated: The original R4 AC system was completely reworked in approximately 2005, i.e., original compressor but new hoses, etc.New tiresNew brakes all the way around (including rear wheel cylinders) in 2010Hydro boost power brake unit replaced New KYB shocks all the way around in 2011New bumper fillers front and rear in 2011New outside door sill weather strips in 2011Water pump replacedThe car was repainted in approximately 2000. The paint is in good to vey good condition. There is a minor paint chip on the hood and one location on a hood crease where the paint has worn thin. Both have been touched up so they are hard to see in the photos. There are also a couple of minor paint chips on the roof.New windshield in 2010New battery in 2010New headliner in approximately 2005New fuel pump in 2010 Known Issues: Cruise control does not work.Rear main oil leak (I have the replacement neoprene seal but it has not been installed)The catalytic converter needs to be replaced (It is on the car but was hollowed out when it became plugged up.)Missing hood ornament (Stolen)For the most part, the car runs good. There has been on occasion a "hard start" issue after the car is shut down when hot and a restart is attempted after some cool down but not long enough for a complete cool down. Acts as if the car is flooded. I have not been able to isolate the problem since it is intermittent and it has always restarted once the car cools down enough. I suspect a sticking fuel injector.
