You are bidding on a gorgeous Black on Tan Mercedes SL500 Roadster with Both Tops and only 60k original miles!! This Benz has only had 1 Owner and has not been smoked in. It drives great and we performed an oil/filter change using Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil and we replaced the spark plugs. The a/c blows ice cold and the heater works great. The top goes up and down without issue and the roll bar operates properly. This Benz starts right up, idles smoothly, and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts effortlessly through all the gears as well. 1998 was one of the best years for the SL500 because it was the last year to have both the quad-cam engine and the 5 speed transmission. This was the last of the real Mercedes SL's before the watered down Daimler-Chryslers came into the market! The interior is very clean and the carpets are spotless. They were professionally clean and still have the protective plastic! The dash looks great and the wood is in very good condtion. The drivers seat could use a little TLC which a leather medic can bring it up to par. The passenger seat is in great condition. We are selling this awesome SL with NO RESERVE!!
