View this vehicle in front of our building on Fetterman in Buffalo, WY (not NY!) just west of the YMCA. 1983 Suburban 3/4 ton 4x4. Motor was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago, but has been sitting alot since. Starts fine but runs a little rough, runs smoother once it is warmed up and driven---we believe it needs a carb rebuild from sitting too long. Hesitation when shifted to reverse. Very used truck. Body is in solid condition-no dents, no rust. Drives down the road straight, has a typical 1983 truck steering feel. Cracked up windshield, chipped rear side window. Interior is rough, has 3rd row bench seat. Electric door locks work, several electric windows do not (last time we checked the drivers window was the one to not open). Some guages not working, dash lights not working, analog clock drains battery after several days. Exhaust is loose. Mud tires are well worn. New brakes all around. 5 digit odometer says 14,000 miles. Can be test driven during the auction. This auction will help us toward the purchase of new vehicles and equipment.
