NO RESERVE!! Up for bid is a very rare pickup. 1997 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 longbox powered by a 4BTA Cummins. The truck started out as a 6.5 turbo diesel automatic, when it hit 153,000 miles the motor went out. In 2007 Performance Fuel Injection in Oregon installed a 1995 Cummins 3.9L 4BTA Turbo diesel motor with 80,000 miles. It is the 120HP motor. The transmission is a 1995 Ford f-250 m5r2 5 speed, Transfer case is also a 95 f-250 model BW1356 it is manual shift. Has a 87-91 Ford F series Hydraulic clutch. The Total for this swap was $6000 ! I have the receipts to show. The motor has a new head gasket and head had a valve job. This Chevy is in really good shape, no rust, no real dents, does have some surface scratches. Has a 4” suspension lift, 35” BFG Alterrain tires with 65% tread left. This truck drives very nice, no rattles, squeaks, or other funny noises. It always starts right up with no smoke hot or cold. It cruises down the freeway at 70mph running 1500 rpm . I get 25MPG with this and 20mpg in town. That is the best part about this! Drive a lifted truck with the same fuel economy as a family sedan! The interior Is in really good shape. No real stains or rips. The driver seat has a small tear. Carpet is bright still and seats are comfortable. All seatbelts work. Has factory radio with cass. And CD. Power windows, locks and mirrors work great! All in all this is a great truck! Drives super good and comfortable. I have put quite a few miles on it, never had to put a wench on it!! I have towed a car on a trailer with it and that is about max what you want to tow. It is a 120 hp 4 cyl. Not a race car but, does freeway speeds with ease. It is tall geared. Does have some negatives. The biggest thing is none of the gauges work except for the tach. (does have a temp and oil pressure gauge hooked up). I have never looked in to what is going on there. The miles are stuck at 153xxx. The front tires rub some times when turning. The AC is not hooked up. There is duct tape on floor over the transmission boot to quiet down road noise. (no big deal just noting stuff) Cracked windshild. The driver door handle broke so you have to roll the window down to open the door from the outside. Also it started a fuel leak. I think one of the injector lines. There are a couple new ones for it that are included. The injection pump was rebuilt also (have receipt) People love this truck, i am always opening the hood.
