I have my 1965 Chevelle 300 up for auction. I wanted to finish this and have as the family car show vehicle, but I just do not have the time to work on it. It is the one of the more rare bodies for the year, as the 300 post cars are bought by drag racers and chopped up because they are lighter than the hardtop models. I found this 300 Deluxe locally and bought it because of how nice of condition it is in. I originally bought this car for its body, as the previous owner had gone through it and replaced the bad metal (floor/trunk, typical for this year/model) as I have always liked the post cars. The Original owner (I am the third), kept a very meticulous record of receipts and I have the ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE, owners manual, various receipts, owner protection plan guide, and 1965 custom feature accessories catalog. Here is what I have: Authentic Chevrolet Shop Manual, Wiring Guide, Body Guide (ALL OF THESE ARE GREAT INFO RESOURCES) -NEW black carpet kit for the interior -pair of 65 buckets -ORIGINAL CENTER CONSOLE, this is a hard to find piece. It has minimal pitting and is in good condition. -350 Engine that I had rebuilt about 6 years ago, the performance shop told me it was pushing about 360HP, I do not have a dyno to test this though. It is a really clean looking engine that will have to be primed as I has not been started since I had it rebuilt. -700-R4 with a shift kit that was rebuilt with the engine (same shop). -All the glass -exterior trim -Front Grill -Headlight assemblies (sandblasted and POR-15 coated) with SS light trim (4) -new powder coated rally wheels with rally caps and new trim rings -steering column with power steering box and original steering wheel -LOTS MORE! -Front Bumper (need a rear) Please contact me if you would like to take a look at this in person.
